Abstract: Abstract The German B. Braun Group purchased the assets of an existing pharmaceutical manufacturing site in 2018. The transition towards a profitable production site was not easy and overcoming some of the challenges needed local solutions. This chapter will provide insights from the idea to the project, the acquisition phase, and the actual implementation. It also describes the approach that has been taken, the obstacles that were experienced as well as measures and solutions to overcome these impediments.
