Abstract As a summary and overview, this chapter provides detailed checklists for the preparation and implementation of (quantitative) surveys and (qualitative) focus groups. When applied rigorously and tailored to a specific research problem, these three checklists enable the reliable execution of the relevant data collection instruments.
