Chapter Chapter 1 in Integrated Project Management and Control, 2014, pp 3-16 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Monitoring the progress and performance of projects in progress using integrated project management and control methods requires a set of tools and techniques that should ideally be integrated into a single decision support system. In order to understand the different control techniques that will be presented throughout the various chapters of this book, all techniques and methods are numerically illustrated on fictitious and real project data. In this chapter, the project data are presented and the project key characteristics relevant for the subsequent book chapters are discussed.
