A chapter in Global Talent Management, 2014, pp 267-278 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores Global Talent Management (GTM) in some of America’s largest organizations. GTM is the process of managing top organizational talent across national boundaries, and in this case, in corporations based in the United States. These global organizations are also known as Transnational Corporations (TNCs); they are highly decentralized organizations that push authority down to the individual level in the organization (Schein, Organizational culture and leadership, San Francisco: Jossey-Bass, 2004).
