Abstract:
Abstract The aim of this book has been to provide executives with an understanding of how big data is substantially transforming “traditional” businesses, that is, those created before the big data tsunami. We have used examples of companies from different industries, such as toy company LEGO and Dutch healthcare company Mediq, to describe how they used big data to transmute their companies’ respective DNAs.
