Chapter Chapter 14 in Platform Business Models, 2021, pp 177-198 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This case on Delhivery highlights how a young enterprise had grown phenomenally, embracing a variety of business models—hyperlocal delivery, software as a service, pipeline business models for services, and a platform business model. The case highlights how each of these business models within the firm complements each other, and what value addition do they do to each other business verticals and stakeholders. The case includes the network effects and helps understand the challenges faced by platform firms in designing their architecture around core (technology) in markets that are yet to tip (achieve critical scale).
