Abstract:
Abstract The world of practice is filled with businesses adopting a wide range of business models, including combinations of multiple types of business models. This chapter highlights how different business models like SaaS, communities, clusters, ecosystems, and platforms work together to create value as complementary to each other; elaborates the way each of these business models and interactions help develop network effects for the platforms and scale the business; and provides for detailed analysis of value architecture in each of these complementarities with platform business models.
