Abstract:
Abstract The East African Community is the most integrated trading bloc in Africa when compared to all the other Regional Economic Communities recognized by the African Union. Therefore, it is worthwhile to examine the transformation this regional community embarked on in intra-regional logistics. The logistical transformation from an analog system to the digital system of today was led by Kenya and will be described in this chapter. The digital system has facilitated trade in East Africa improving speed, cost, and continuous flow of goods with minimum disruptions.
