Chapter Chapter 10 in Integrated Project Management and Control, 2014, pp 131-137 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This book reviewed the most commonly used metrics in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) to efficiently control projects in progress. The integrated view on project management and control, seen as a combination of baseline scheduling and schedule risk analysis within a project control framework, has led to the development of new control methods, research results and two software systems discussed in this book. The intention of this book was not to provide a full summary of the literature or a description of the best practices within project control, but rather to provide a short and easy-to-use overview of the currently existing methods and techniques.
